Zucchini parmesan

A twist on the old fav of eggplant parmesan.

We substituted zucchini for the eggplant.

the makings of a great meal... whole wheat pasta with these add-ins

3 Flat Acres grown tomatoes - Kellogg's breakfast and Celebrity - , zucchini (costata romaesca), peppers (Jimmy Nardello and banana pepper), garlic.   Local bacon and milk.

 
The summer's bounty - despite the drought! - is still apparent in these late summer meals.
